Eighth GBM of ISNET

ISNET held its Eighth Governing Body Meeting at NARSS Headquarters In Cairo, Egypt. The GBM was attended by delegates from ISNET member countries including Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, Senegal, Sudan, Syria and Tunisia. Delegates from Egypt and Jordan were invited as observers. Mr Aftab Zaidi, Director Administration COMSTECH represented COMSTECH at the meeting. The GBM was chaired by the new president of ISNET Mr Ahmed Bilal.

The governing body reviewed implementation of its decisions at the Seventh GBM, progress of the network and its activities and approved program and budget for the next biennium. The body also discussed strategies for increasing the span of ISNET’s activities.

All observers expressed their admiration for the variety of activities held at the ISNET forum and pledged to gather support for ISNET in their countries.
